Workability Qld was a place-based, industry-led strategy to prepare the Queensland workforce for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Innovative in its design, it ran for four years in the lead-up to implementation of the NDIS. Outpost Consulting undertook the independent evaluation of the strategy.
The evaluation involved four stages over the four years. The Workability Qld team used the evaluation to improve the strategy as it was rolled out. The evaluation also helped industry peak bodies and government agencies understand success factors and pitfalls for implementing major reform through industry partnerships.
